September is officially California Wine Month, and wine lovers will have a special reason to raise their glasses at Phantom Pour: A Centennial Toast, a premier wine tasting fundraiser presented by Cathedral High School Alumni, taking place on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Cathedral High School. Phantom Pour: A Centennial Toast is a milestone celebration, honoring Cathedral High School’s 100th year anniversary while raising support for students in need and reinforcing a century-long legacy of excellence, tradition, and community.

The California casual event will showcase a curated selection of celebrated wines from Duckhorn Vineyards, Golden State Wine Company, Southern Glaciers, Cork & Bottle Imports, and San Antonio Winery, offering guests a chance to savor some of California’s finest pours.

To complement the tasting, guests will enjoy an array of delectable delights provided by Sweet Savory Café & Bakery, perfectly pairing with the evening’s wine selections.

Adding an educational and interactive element, Dezzarea Henderson, owner of Wine Now! tasting room and lounge, will be on hand to offer wine tasting tips and insights, guiding guests through their wine journey to enhance their overall tasting experience.

Beyond wine, the night promises an unforgettable experience with a live auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime prizes, including:

·         Four exclusive tickets to a Los Angeles Lakers suite complete with a VIP parking pass. Guests will enjoy the game in ultimate style and comfort with premium seating, luxury catering, and a private suite experience that brings them closer to the excitement of Lakers basketball than ever before.

·         A 4-night stay at a charming 5-bedroom Cape Cod–style home in New Haven, Connecticut, just blocks from Yale University, with easy train access to New York City — offering guests the best of both quaint New England charm and vibrant metropolitan experiences across the Tri-State area.

With the purchase of each $100 ticket, guests will receive 2 raffle tickets for, not one, but two chances to win $100 cash, as well as a commemorative wine glass and wine opener.
